Body cams are not just for police!
This is a pharmacist in the UK. See that camera on her uniform
So the UK has become so dangerous of a place that retail workers are now sporting body cams.
I could be wrong but I doubt if that camera is going to stop a beat down of the clerk.
These cameras are here in the states also. This should bother all of us, we are now truly living in a surveillance state. Was this part of our owners plan with their defending criminals and letting people just walk across the border?

The west was once the envy of the world. In the last decade it is now not only a laughing stock for dictators around the world but they have all become more dangerous for average honest people. Our owners have willingly let people from 3rd and 4th world countries flow freely across the border. People that have not lived under anything but tribally ruled countries. Countries that if their was law it was corrupted to the point of being worse than anarchy. Countries in which you could bribe the police to do what ever you needed IF you have the money. A country where might makes right. Countries that had absolutely no guaranteed rights.
The USA is not far behind in this respect of violence and theft. Recently I installed a mini split A/C - heat pump. I needed 100 feet of 10/2 wire. Homedepot now has ALL wire behind locked cage type doors. So you must find the electrical manager with the key, tell them what you want. They take it out and literally carry it to the check out for you. While walking to the check out I asked the manager was theft that bad. She said absolutely. Wire if you do not know is expensive and some sizes are in short supply. That 100 foot roll cost $175.00. Crazy just crazy.
I built my own house starting in 2005 a 250 foot roll of 12/2 romex was $30-$35 I bought 20 rolls of that and 4 rolls of 1000 foot rolls at $100.00 Today those rolls are $129 and $490 respectfully. ( I purchased that much wire because I knew copper was not going any lower and I have been selling it at these prices. )
Even tools now are under lock and key. Its a real pain now to go to these places and purchase major items as they are short staffed so it can take a long time to get someone to show up with the key. Then store policy is to walk you to the check out.
Retail as we knew it is going to be extinct in a few years. I can see where everything will be online ordering and you pick it up at the front desk. Theft has become just that bad. Recently on a trip to Home Depot and guy had some small hand tools. Some how he convinced the check out clerk to let him go outside and see if they would work for his “project” he NEVER came back. The brazenness is shocking. That was nearly $100 worth the tools.
I know people that work in other home supply stores the theft and brazenness of the thieves is simply astounding. Of course staff is told to just let them go. TV’s, major tools to little things. Its California everywhere.
I guess its just a good thing I do not run these places as I would have a shoot to stop these people. I’m guessing that would end it pretty fast. A couple of dead thieves and they would go elsewhere to ply their trade, as the juice is not worth the squeeze. Personally I would not work in a convenience store, gas station or fast food place after dark without heat. It literally is a matter of life and death.
Companies have fostered this with these crazy let them go policies. Hire trained staff, have signs up if you steal, we catch you - your dead. That may seem excessive, however I am of the opinion YOU determine what your life is worth. If you steal a $5.00, $10.00, $25.00 or several hundred dollar item you put the price on your head.
The constant barrage of “ the rich” the businessman / woman” are making huge profits and they should have it stolen from them with high tax rates has now sunk in to the general populace. Politicians that have for decades driven this wedge are responsible for this, we are responsible for this because WE keep electing these people that have never done a thing with their life except con us into voting for them.
This is also going to lead to more person on person violence, muggings, kidnapping, rape as these are merely extensions and another form of theft. Sweden now is no longer safe for women due to the immigrants that do not respect women or anything else.
Sadly this is going to get far worse before it gets better. Too many people have been brainwashed into thinking their is some number that makes theft okay and once you cross that number well maybe we otta do something.
This thievery will continue until such time the juice is not worth the squeeze. Criminals are risk adverse - make the risk not worth it and they will move on. Letting them steal $999.00 like in CA is NOT a solution, it will only exacerbate the problem.
When was the last time we heard of a robbery in a firearms store while open? Yea NEVER, as the hep in many of these places are packing while working, its to risky.
As a side note/personal experience. 20 years ago I would take my children ice skating every Friday night. I got to be acquainted with the manager. He packed a .45 ACP on his side while working. I had heard years previously that this ice rink had huge vandalism problems and gangs of teens were intimidating patrons. The city asked him to become manager, they however wanted him to not have that .45 ACP strapped to his side. He told them he absolutely would not take the job if he could not carry. After a few weeks they relented. It took all of two weekends for the riff raff to pick up stakes. He never had to pull his weapon, they seen it, they had put out feelers and he made it clear he would use it if he had to. He was a small guy, but he carried himself in such a manner you knew he was not a BSer. The juice for these thugs was not worth the squeeze. They were not going to test him, .45 ACP and three magazines - just the sight was enough to make them move on to easier squeezes.
The solution will be as I have stated above - the pendulum is going to swing back harshly.
The UK is falling apart at the seems, censorship, arresting people protesting the murder of children and politicians defending the murderers.
The people of western Europe and the UK gave up their forms of effective resistance decades ago. Yes I am talking firearms. Without firearms you are prey not only for individuals but a group of individuals we call government. People that think they are going to vote their way out of this are delusional. What exactly do depots fear from unarmed people?
Fortunately we here in the USA still have remnants of freedom and SCOTUS has recently ruled in favor of firearms ownership. We are going to see a battle royale on firearms if the authoritarian team of Harris/Walz are elected. They have both called for bans and mandatory buy backs of firearms.
WE need states to enforce our rights - ALL OF THEM. The feds do not have this power nor the police force to enforce them. Without commandeering state LEO the feds are up the proverbial creek without a paddle. States merely need to say no you are not doing that to our citizens.
We are on the razors edge this election. None of the 3 Harris, Trump, Kennedy are great supporters of freedom. They all are horrible - with Harris being the worst of the bunch. At least Kennedy and Trump have rudimentary ideas on freedom. Harris has NONE! She is a dictator in waiting.
The federal elections are critical, state elections are even more critical as states have the power to stop this nonsense we just need to elect people that understand their duties as state officials.
