These instant water heaters are more efficient than tank models as once the hot water is shut off the burner is shut off. A tank unit use gas when ever the water drops below a certain point - whether you are drawing hot water or away for a month.
“When the rule goes into effect, all that manufacturing will basically be irrelevant,” Frank Windsor, president of Rinnai America, a water heater manufacturer, told the outlet.
“A lot of the major equipment that we’ve invested in will basically have to be scrapped.”
Rinnai had just finished up a roughly $70 million factory in Georgia to produce non-condensing gas water heaters in the US.
Customers will be pushed towards buying models that are more expensive or lean on non-instantaneous storage tank water heaters, which are generally cheaper but tend to be less efficient than the ones that are facing a ban, per the report.

The changes apply to new models on sale once the new rules officially come into effect, which is expected to be in 2027. Manufacturers would be forced to limit dishwashers to using 3.2 gallons of water per cycle, far below the current federal limit of 5 gallons, and reduce their products’ energy consumption by nearly 30 percent. While most dishwashers on the market meet the Energy Star Standard of 3.5 gallons per cycle, they would still need to be redesigned to cut energy use. The result of the new rules will be higher upfront prices for the appliance, making it more difficult for lower income Americans to afford them. Since paper plates and plastic utensils are not eligible for government food assistance programs, the proposed standard will hit the poor especially hard.

A USA Today test in 2021 that collected and measured the amount of water used in hand washing calculates that it uses 3.5 to 5 times as much water as a dishwasher.
So even a dishwasher made in 2021 uses less water than hand dishwashing, they also use less electricity. Many people run the water throughout the rinse process. This is hot water not cold. So what is the point of Biden and his fellow Democrat climate change yelpers? CONTROL! over US. It IS that simple.

So in an effort to save water and electricity this man and his party are making appliances more expensive, forcing manufacturers to build overseas to keep cost down OR in the case of GE sell out to the Chinese companies like HAIER. ( why is it this man is constantly helping China? )
So the poor not being able to afford a new dishwasher will have to go back to hand washing or make another tough budgetary decision.
This all in an effort to cut co2 emissions. co2 makes up 0.03-0.04 of the atmosphere. No the decimals and zeros are correct!
These co2 emissions and associated heavy metals ( all fuels contain microscopic heavy metals and some of those metals come from the device also. ) are close to the ground and fall out fairly quickly vs Jet and air travel. These metals at street level fall fairly quickly vs air travel induced heavy metal which can take years to fall to the ground.

Let’s take a look on how much gasoline/diesel we use to get about in our cars. Let’s assume you fill your 20 gallon fuel tank once a week. In 52 weeks you would use 1040 gallons of fuel. So a 747 uses 3600 gallon per hour. It would take you 3.5 years to burn the amount of fuel a 747 uses in ONE HOUR! Let that sink in, these people our betters our owners have pounded into us, our children and grand children that WE are the cause of climate change living a relatively meager life compared to them.
Yet WE are to take cold showers, turn down the thermostat in winter, wear jackets inside, then in summer turn the A/C up and sweat and are supposed to run around in small cars, and have these energy hogs preach to us and tell us WE are the problem? They fly around the globe giving each other awards for freedom, not having a butt pimple or what ever and we are to live in cramped 15 minute cities where we take their transportation or walk.
It is past time to limit Presidential powers and those of the entire government at all levels. They are harming people and its pretty obvious they do not care. The climate is and has been changing since the begging of time. While humans maybe able to affect it on a micro scale to do some on a macro scale is nearly impossible. Most certainly its a problem that cannot be solved by taking money from us and giving it to their globe trotting friends.
This is nothing but an effort to control us. Its an effort to enslave us. Its time to educate ourselves on the intricacies of what they are feeding us. Its time to analyze and sort out the BS to the facts. Its time to call these people out. Its time to take a closer look at who we are voting for. Do they have a human ownership mentality, or a freedom mentality. Do they just talk about freedom while enslaving us or are they actively fighting to decrease their grip on us?
